Chain of Custody Core Labor Requirements

Greca – Artes Gráficas, Lda apply the Chain of Custody Core Labor Requirements through the commitments established in their Code of Conduct.

FSC® Core Labor Requirements Policy
7.1. When applying the Chain of Custody Core Labor Requirements, Grecatake due account of the rights and obligations established by national legislation, whilst fulfilling the objectives of the requirements.
7.2. Grecado not use child labor.
7.2.1 Grecado not employ workers under the age of 15 or under the minimum age as set out in national or local laws or regulations, whichever age is higher, except as specified in 7.2.2
7.2.2 In countries where national laws or regulations permit the employment of persons aged 13 to 15 in light work, such employment must not interfere with schooling or be harmful to health or development. Notably, where children are subject to compulsory education laws, they must work only outside school hours during normal office hours.
7.2.3 No person under the age of 18 is employed in hazardous or heavy work except for training purposes in accordance with approved national laws and regulations.
7.2.4 Greca prohibit the worst forms of child labor.
7.3. Greca eliminate all forms of forced and compulsory labor.
7.3.1 Working relationships are voluntary and based on mutual consent, without the threat of penalty.
7.3.2 There is no evidence of practices indicative of forced or compulsory labor, including, among others, the following:
• Physical and sexual violence
• Forced labour
• Wage withholding/including payment of employment fees and/or payment of deposit to commence employment
• Mobility/movement restriction
• Retention of passport and identity documents
• Threats of reporting to authorities.
7.4. Greca guarantee that there is no discrimination in employment and occupation.
7.4.1 Employment and occupation practices are not discriminatory.
7.5. Greca respect freedom of association and the effective right to collective bargaining.
7.5.1 Workers may establish or join workers’ organizations of their own choosing.
7.5.2 Greca respect the total freedom of workers’ organizations to draw up their constitutions and rules.
7.5.3 Greca respect the rights of workers to engage in lawful activities related to the training, association or assistance of the organization’s workers or to refrain from doing the same, and will not discriminate against or punish workers for exercising of these rights.
7.5.4 Greca negotiate with legally established workers organizations and/or duly selected representatives in good faith and with best efforts
